Looking for a good repair shop near Myrtle Beach. Any help would be appreciated. Have located one in Surfside called Exotic Auto. Anyone have an opinion?

Thanks

Mr Robinson @ Exotic Auto will do a great job! I work for UPS and deliver his packages to him so he is a good friend.

I was afraid of that.... Marc at BPC has some problems. He destroyed my Mercedes. He improperly installed a front cv, it popped loose, bound the differential and exploded. The passenger floor pan got ripped up and all the seat belt tensioners fired as well as the prop shaft snapping in half.
A previous time, he forgot to torque the lug nuts and the wheel almost came off.
He also had a myriad of 'problems' working on my first jag and ran up about 12k I'm bills during my short ownership of the car.

I shouldn't have let it go on as long as I did, but I was stupid and he had a good reputation....

Wow! I was totally unaware of that kind of repairs from him. I felt with him once. He installed my EGR valve
That was when i was lackingthe knowledge of how too who on these cars. I was going to let him service my Trans, never mind now. I apologize for mentioning him. He is just reasonably priced. I am very mechanically inclined. Through three years, other than programming computers in the cars (i don't have three equipment), i have never ran into an issue i couldn't resolve. I specialize in suspensions and charging systems, then engines, then automatic transmissions. I have always wanted to go to an auto tech school, but the military keeps me bound up. I should follow my passions i suppose, but i love working on my radar too. Lol.

Just some issues I encountered that people should be aware of.

I live in myrtle beach and have a 2002 xj8. I use Bill at investment auto behind ups in that industrial park. One man shop that has all the jag software. He used to work at fowler motors on mb/bmw. He lets you bring in all your own parts and only charges labor. Always fair and reasonable. Mine is a third car that repairs are never urgent.
