Default The "Sap" has shown up.......

I have searched many places both in here and on the web for a solution on the best way to remove sap from my tan colored convertible top. It seems thru my efforts thus far I have been able to remove most of the sap, however I have left a dark circle that seems the harder I try to get that out or at least dull it some has only lead to making it worse.

Any ideas?

I've had good success with Meguiar's Convertible Top Cleaner

I find that using a regular car wash liquid and hot water will do the trick. Hot water will soften the sap and the soapy water will pick up the residue.
