Hi guys. this is my first post and i sure hope you can help me. I just bought what is possibly the cheapest convertible Jag in this part of the world. I'm 75 years old and still want a weekend cruiser. The power steering rack is leaking bad out the left boot. Rebuilders in the U.S. can send me one for about $400 saying the 1997 is NOT the same as a 1999-2005 which i can buy for $198.00. ( remember i'm cheap ). They look the same. Mount the same, i wonder what the difference is. Will one from a 2000 work adequately in a 1997. Thanks for any help you can come up with.
