I usually am on the XJ-S forum, but I need some body work done in the Indianapolis metro area or central Indiana.

I have a 1987 XJ-S V12. Rust is forming in the usual spots...fender panels near the wheel wells, bottom of the doors and such. At this point I don't see having the panels replaced just because of the expense, e.g., right front fender alone is $650.

I've taken it to a few local collision repair shops, and they just want to replace entire panels. I see cutting out the bad parts and welding in new metal as a less expensive solution.

Anyone aware of who does that sort of body work in central Indiana?
