Question Best Dealer in MA for Service?

I have an air conditioner leak into the passenger footwell ('07 XK). The dealer I bought it from in NC says it's most likely just a clogged drain line, not the "expensive fix" that is a known design flaw.

Which Jag dealership around Boston would you recommend that is honest and capable? I haven't been impressed with the servicing and parts from certain dealers (no name on forum, just PM). This could be potentially a major repair and my confidence is not high from few experiences so.

PM's are welcome. Need to get this repair done soon.

Default Upton Foreign Motors

I'd recommend Dana at Upton Foreign Motors, 138 Milford St. Upton, Ma. (508-529-4040). He worked on my XK8 and I was very pleased with the results.

The right way to repair your car is to remove the dash assy & install the later style drain. Any other method is just a band aid not a permanent fix. The other thing to make sure you have done is remove the passengers seat & take out the floor carpet. There is a very thick sponge under the carpet. It takes quite a while to dry out even in the sun. I have sent the carpets to our body shop & had them dried in the oven.

That is what I fear and the local Jag dealerships have a hard enough time sending the right part to my mechanic. I fret them doing a big job without them damaging the car, over charging, and/or covering their tracks and playing dumb.

I have little choice and plan to detail my ordeal or good experience here so others can make informed decisions. Details to follow. The service departments are closed today.

Cool Massachusetts Jag service - Upton Foreign Motors

HI.. I just wanted to say that I recently brought my 97 xj6L to Dana at Upton Foreign Motors in Upton, MA ... I got his information here on the Forum... I can't tell you how pleased I am with the repairs he made on my car and how reasonable and ez he was to work with!! He worked on the front end and then repaired a window and handle on the rear door. I drove off in a different car... the ride was so much improved and I am very happy and would recommend him to you all. It's good to have someone so well experienced on the Jag. You need the local guy for the simple stuff but when it comes to other things I don't like it when I feel someone is guessing. Dana knows his stuff... hope this helps someone else like it helped me.
