September 21st 2013 12pm awards at 3:30 "Brits on The Beach" car show in Ocean Grove, NJ. Presented by Positive Earth Drivers Club.

I entered my XJ8 last year, great show 150 British cars including 20 Jags. A block off the ocean and next to Asbury Park.

And a very nice xj8 it was! Took my TVR to the show for a weekend out with the wife at a B&B. Great show, great town to let your better half enjoy the shops etc. rather than looking at cars in a field.

Won't make it this year as we're going up to Bronte in Toronto the weekend before.

Leaving for the Brits On The Beach Car Show! Really looking forward to it. Hope the weather holds out... I will post pics later today or tomorrow. Over 130 cars have pre registered so it should be quite a good time!!

 

Was a great show, the car that drew the most attention was a 1960 XK150 in showroom condition and parked next to my car. The one that got my attention was a D Type.

Ocean Grove is a beautiful old town right on the ocean. They had Main Ave for 5 blocks down town blocked off to traffic and all the show cars parked 90 degrees to the curb. We were lucky enough to have this great café right across the street from us and had the best lobster BTL's for lunch, who could ask for more.

NJjag, you are pretty close to Ocean Grove, try the Sea Grass café. The lobster BLT's are a regular menu item.
