No problem. I've been thinking of joining for a while now but I've been a little to busy to be able to attend any events. They've got a great cruise coming up but I can't do it.

I KNOW!!

The dealer I bought my car from....Lee Jaguar......closed.

I guess Herb Chambers in Sudbury bought the dealership and now they have Land Rover and Jag there.

Now I get my car serviced @ Woburn Foreign Motors Jaguar.

Chelmsford, just got my second Jag last Friday. First was totaled in that freak snow storm Oct 31st. Oak tree will win every time.

FYI. Only a DEALER has the equipment to check your transmission fluid level. Contact your senator regarding the right to repair bill. This is total BS!

My 04 xjr had some seepage in the rubber section of the trans cooling lines. I ordered a set and now had to have it brought to the dealer to have it topped off. As I said, this is a monopoly and BS imo.

I know what you mean. I used to go there then a little mom and pop shop in Nashua until they broke my side skirt. Now for the work I don't do myself I go to Upton Foreign Motors, Dana is a straight shooter and is pretty cheap. I may have to call him soon for a transfer case and a heater core - my X just sprung a leak last night.

Default Front suspension

So now I have another $3k into this POS! 2 airbag/strut assemblies,$2k and installation $1k. Awesome! Can't wait to unload it. What a $80k mistake in 04. All this fun with only 5ok miles.

There are rebuilders for the font air shocks, they are far less than what you payed, and you were charged $1,000.00 to install? If you need any work on you'r Jag call me @ 508-529-4040.

Thanks Dana

Dana,

I assume you have the Jag scan tool? Included in the labor charge was the replacement of the two transmission cooler lines which I should have noted. And of course as the "owner", I cannot check my own transmission fluid level. What a monopoly!

Thanks,

You do not need a scan tool to check the level the only reaason they say they need the the scan tool is to get the trans temp. With the car up on the lift and the engine running there is a plug on the side of the trans that at 100F the fluid should be at the lower level of the plug. I have done a few trans cooler lines and other trans work and have filled the trans without using the coputer and they all hve been ok. I do have the factory scann tool, but I am having a problem with it it is out for repair at this time.
