North of Philly you have The Great Britains in Willow Grove. I believe that they have a dealership closer to you in Wayne as well. Also North is Reedman/Toll in Langhorne.

Hey Greenie,

I grew up on Hillside, then Runnymede. Worked at Maginniss Imports on York Rd. in Horsham before they closed, Britains moved in a while later. What are you driving?

Hey Jag! 07 BMW 328 coupe and 07 Corvette coupe. Today I ordered a 10 XF Portfolio in Porcelain/Spice. Should be, lets say, different!! Remember Maginniss AND both Runnymede and Hillside. Ever return??

Sweet, enjoy the new ride! My folks still live there, so I get back to visit when I'm doing business anywhere close. You a JHS grad? A fellow Drake even?

Nope. Marple-Newtown in Delaware County but we had our offices at 99 West Ave near the train station for years.

I used to catch the train there to go downtown to Spectrum shows. If Glen Shockley still works for Britains, tell him Andy from Maginniss says hi. Best wishes with the XF, I have not touched one but most of what I hear and read has been positive.

I will indeed and lets stay in touch. I am a little reticient about the car because, to me, Jag spells electrical issues and its my first. I had the model change 04 Audi A8L and it was a disaster! The BMW gave me nothing but pleasure but, alas, I need a 4 door and the 5 series bimmer leaves me cold.

First year model glitches are par for the course, particularly for Jaguar. You won't be seeing many problems at this point, I should think the first batch of birth defects I have read about are now moot.

Thats good to hear. It looks as though the XF and the upcomong XJ are exceptional cars for Jaguar. Finally, reliability!!!

As for the exterior color, that's purely a matter of personal taste. As for Spice, I was always partial to Sporty...Posh seems a touch too arrogant for me.

What color is Sporty? LOL. The Spice reminds me of the MG and Triumph color and thats sporty. Right? Charcoal would be demure and arrogant!!!!!
