New to boards here- coming from bimmerpost, nasioc, iwsti, benzworld and the likes, but now deeply in love with my 07' BR XK & especially the exhaust note. Pretty much the best sounding stock car I have ever owned.

That said I am a mod/admin at a few boards above and always loved local meets, bbq's meet ups, cars/coffee deal, and group photo opps for the cars... so who else is in? (searched in did not see a dedicated western ny thread)

I messaged a slew of people about a possible meet since it seemed a few ppl were interested in the Western NY area meet up idea (I am in Buffalo, recent transplant from NYC, after half a decade).

Looking forward to coordinating and meeting up in the next month, look out for updates here..and please if visiting the area (Niagara Falls/western NY/canada) let us fellow jag owners know! Goes for our canadian uk brethren as well! Feel free to post q's, meet up place suggestions and just to say hi from western ny

Hey Dave. Great idea. Not sure if that ever came to be but sounds like not as the original post was in June and there wasn't any other talk about "that great event you already missed" or anything like it so...

I'm in the central Fingerlakes area and would be into doing a meet and greet with other Jag owners. I sense we would have a common bond. My wife and I lived in Buffalo (Cheektowaga) for a little less than a year about a hundred years ago when we were first married for my job. Loved the city. Not the weather so much as the people. VERY friendly and warm people who more than make up for the...er...less than balmy weather. Oh and the food...we had a large community of Polish people in our area and the food was amazing.

Look forward to participating if you pull anything together and showing off my shiny cat. It's not new or expensive but I like it

 

I'd love to get together with a bunch of you guys. Do a nice cruise etc

 

I'm jealous - wish I had time to track up to Western NY...
