New(ish) F-Type owner, actually took delivery in August and have just been lurking. Forum has already been super useful, and can I just say how nice it is to be on a forum again instead of a Facebook group??? It's comfortable like a favorite pair of jeans.

2014 F-Type V8 S in Italian Racing Red

I live in downtown Seattle.

Please add me
Poppa doing it from Roberts ID.
I know the middle of nowhere but it's not bad driving a XJS on US 15 legal speed limit of 80 is nice!

Thanks Although I haven't been working on my E so much lately. We bought a 1956 Chevy 210, 2dr no post pro-street dragster recently, and a 1995 F450 flat bed roll back tow truck that's getting a top end rebuild, and a big turbo :P 7.3 powerstroke. Just bought a big block ZZ502, and a new TBI-EFI system from Holley for the tri-five.

We like to party

Let us know when and where if there's a meet-up or whatever. Try to make it. Sun's out here, well you know what I mean.

Now that is all kinds of sexy right there. How is the resto going?

My name is Captain Obvious (It truly is a Copyrighted alter ego image). I just bought a 1997 X330 (XJ6L) there were only 205 of these manufactured in Coventry. My saloon is Topaz in color with cream-colored (parchment) leather seats. Yesterday, I took her for a 200+ mile run to the coast and back. The kitty didn't miss a beat. It doesn't mind cruising at 55 mph and purrs steadily at 2000 rpm. I get admiring glances wherever I stop and received a "nice car" when my friend ran into a grocery store to buy her and her son dinner.
I look forward to long trips drivin the big cat. (I like driving with either a Panama or bowler perched on my head). I am rarely seen without a sports jacket and slacks. (I believe in dressing well all the time). There's something to be said for looking good. It garners respect wherever you go.

Cheers!

Welcome! It's been pretty quiet around here lately, especially with Covid. I'm sure we'll be looking to do our Octoberfest run later this year though - I think that timing will work out OK.

Well I did hear that somebody got a haircut, so that's exciting!

The weather is just so pretty and I don't know about you but I'm sick of being isolated. Did you all get your vaccinations? What about planning something for June? Maybe we can do something quick, like a run out to granite falls or some back roads around north bend?

Hi Muddy,

Good to hear from you. I hope all is well. It would be good to do a get together drive again this year.

I haven't been driving the jag very much of late. I bought a Royal Enfield classic motorcycle and have been really enjoying riding that.

Take care

It is good to hear from my old friends! I’m also sick of not socializing. I am fully vaccinated. A drive in June sounds good though I’m gone a lot in June. I’d even do May.

Danny.

PS: I sold the XKR but I still have the XJR.
