Hey guys. I'm looking for a junkyard that will buy my 2002 x- type 2.5. An uninsured idiot ran into me a while back and I'm contemplating selling her. I could be wrong but I'm thinking I could get more money from a junk yard that specializes in jags. My local (Spokane wa) junk yards aren't offering much. I've heard rumors of one such yard in the Seattle area but haven't been able to confirm that. Any info you got will help. Thanks.

 

If you have title - salvage or clear - try finding the closet iaai or copart auction companies. I know Insurance Auto Action ( iaai dot com ) is one of the auction sites used by insurance companies when they total a car. If you have title and can get the car to the auction site ( looks like there may be one in Spokane). For ninty nine dollars you can list you car and if it doesn't sell, you can list again for another week or two for an additional $25. I would venture a guess that you'll do alot better auctioning the car instead of selling to a junkyard.

That sounds like a good idea. As it is still driveable and titled, i'll probably get more money that way anyhow. Thanks for the suggestion.
