Just acquired a 2005 XJ8L and am looking for recommendations of good independent Jag master mechanics in LA area (I'm in Calabasas) to put on speed dial. Who do you guys use?

I am also in the Valley and although there are a number of Jaguar specialty independents like the one at the corner of Riverside and Woodman in Sherman Oaks, or the one next door to Brent's Deli in Northridge on Parthenia, I use a mechanic (for all my cars) including 3 Jaguars, a De Tomaso Pantera, and a half dozen others who is located in Northridge, on Parthenia, just west of Reseda Blvd. His name is Sako and phone number is (818) 701-7772. I use him for both mechanical and body work. In fact, my 2002 XKR is there right now.

I've been to Steve's Jaguar in Canoga Park for simple oil changes and brake fluid flushes, but nothing more at this stage. Nice folks and they seem to know their cars well.
