The SoCal group was really only one person (tirefriar) and he declined due to a big SoCal show the folloining week. But, you never know. Your're on the list. I will post the details early next week.

No, let's stick with April and set up something else in May (maybe Monterey so we can get some Central Coast/So Cal involvement)

Oh, and I definitely vote for Saturdays.

May sounds quite a bit better even more so when you mention Monterey. I'm working on getting a 'group' going in the San Fernando valley. So far it's just Tberg and I although there are plenty of jags here.

Queen's English is on April 14th. Held at the same location as the French Italian show last year. All British cars are welcome.

I'll be doing some marketing there. Hopefully there will be a larger group up for the Monterey run

There is just too much going on in April on each weekend, two big car shows in which a number of us will be attending (one with the Jag, the other with the Pantera). The beginning of the month is still Passover with relatives staying with us for the holiday. The middle of the month we have a large fundraiser for a mayoral candidate who has been instrumental in helping us navigate the permit process for building our and Los Angeles' first fully automated parking structure, and end of the month I have personal commitments. May would be great, and as a birthday gift I received a round of golf at Pebble Beach, so I might be able to combine the two. Tirefriar and I are both interested and in touch on a regular basis, and we might get a few others.

I'm with Marc. We've been talking about this for a while. My vote is for the 6th and if everything is fine, let's plan something for May then.

Default May in Monterey! (As well as Napa on 4/6)

Let's start identifying a weekend in May for a Monterey/Carmel Valley meet.

I like that. Haven't been to monterrey in a long time. Here is another May option. All British car show in Dixon, CA. Looks like a casual "I like my car show". Google "California British Car Shows".

All,
Time is getting close and the weather is getting better every day. Here’s who I have as of today:
Coming Maybe
Nardoswiss MarcB
VMV BMC Nut
Captmal777
Sarc
enderle
9mileskid
Smgdata
Rocam81
WaterDragon

The plan is to meet in the south parking lot of Solano Community College (4000 Suisun Valley Rd.) between 9:00 to 9:30AM on Saturday, April 6th. We will head out no later than 9:45 and head straight north on Suisun Valley/Wooden Valley Road to Monticello Rd./CA-121. This is a true Jaguar route with lots of curves and hills. We then go north on Silverado Trail to a winery in St. Helena. After the first stop we head south to Yountville for lunch. After lunch I have a great spot for a photo op and another winery after that. I will have maps and directions for the exact route when we meet up on April 6th.

Please let me know if you are bringing anyone as a co-pilot I will be able to get a better count.

If you don’t see your name as coming, I have it wrong or you are still interested in joining please send me a PM or a note on the thread.

Look forward to seeing you all.

Dave
