TPMS sensor life
I’m having new tires installed on my ‘15 XKR. The car is new to me, and I assume the TPMS sensors are the originals. As the car is 9 years old, I’m contemplating having the TPMS sensors replaced when Discount Tire installs my new tires. They have sensors that they guarantee will work with my car, and cost $248 for all 4. Since they are changing the tires, there is no incremental charge to replace and program the new sensors.
So, what is the expected life of the sensors? They have non replaceable batteries. Will the current ones last until the next tire change in about 5 years?

Well, I guess I’ll replace them..
“ TPMS sensors are designed to last for many years – 5-10 years is a likely lifespan”
I guess my 14 year old Acura’s are on borrowed time…
