Denso Sat Nav Diagnostic codes
Just ordered a 55 plate 2.0d SE Estate and can't wait to get it
At present have a 2004 Mondeo 2.0 TDCI Ghia which has the Ford version of the Denso Sat Nav fitted
I was browsing around the forum trying to find out more about the Jaguar version
I recall in the early days of having the Ford, I found a forum discussing the diagnostic modes within the unit. The 1st PIN code I found published was actually for a Jaguar, but I can't find anything now.

Does anybody know the corresponding codes for the Jag.
While I'm on, reading other bits on the forum, I was interested if anyone has ever found ways to enable/disable various features on the car
eg auto relocking, drive-away door locking and global closing etc. I didn't know how to do that with the Ford, but there were lots of other things where there were published sequences on the web to enable/disable other features.

Sounds very similar to what I was trying to find - but I see its for an S-Type sat nav.
Are the S-type and X-type Sat Navs the same - have to wait till I get my car to try !

(That link looks to be for the earlier system, not the later one which is also used in the X-Type.)
Code 1981 from your Ford link does work on the Jag system though (Edited: that might be 1971 after seeing the post below mine, I can't remember and don't have the car handy to check), and gives youa diagnostics screen for enabling and disabling options like the CD changer and phone. All changes to that will be lost when the car is restarted though. It is useful for running checks though if you have having any faults, and it will display the logged error codes.
To get to the PIN entry menu hold in Phone and Menu for five seconds.
