Jag x-type knocking noise.
Hi I'm new to this forum, I was just wondering if anyone could help me out? I've just brought a 2001jaguar x-type 2.5 v6 petrol, and I had it delivered to me today from a car auction site which deal with cat c cat d cat x cars! Mine was cat x, as we turned the car over was running sweet! Then all of a sudden there was like this knocking/spitting sound. And maybe both together. Drives ok no problem with the driving part! Just wondered if anyone knew if there was any common faults that it could be... Thanks jamie
