"S" switch on center console
For those that are interested, according to the Jaguar Service CD, it says this about the "S" button as it relates to the transmission:
"The Sport mode switch allows:
-the driver to select or de-select the automatic transmission sport mode.
-the automatic transmission to operate normally when the sport mode is selected, but under acceleration the gear shift points are extended to make full use of the engine's power reserves.
-the driver to drive the vehicle in the 'D' position with full automatic transmission shift or manually shift gears in the '2, 3 and 4' positions."
There is no mention of anything dealing with the suspension.

maybe i was wrong on the suspension thing.. it does feel much tighter when i have the "s" button on. by on i mean pressed once so the light on the button is lite up.

GMAN I probably wouldn't be wanting to drive the sport button full time in the jag. The drivetrain does have weakpoints that I wouldn't be wanting to mess with!
