Got a funny and intermittent phenomenon with the air con system on my x-type.I would appreciate some help on suggesting what could be wrong.

First, I found some warm air (mixing with cold air) coming out of the left hand vents, whilst the air from thr right hand vents was nice and cool. It didn't border me too much.

Later, I left myX-type parked under theSun for a couple of hours, and air con failed to producecool air at all temp settings, and in automodeor not. Thehigher Iturned up the fan, the warmer the air coming out from the vents. It seemed that I was turning on the heater was I turned up the fan.The airfrom the left hand ventswaswarmer thanthe air from theright handvent. This phenomenon is repeatable.

At other times, the air con system worked quite normal, nice and cool........

Eventually brought the car back to the agent and did computerised diagnotics on the air con system. Reset somefault codes and cleaned the sensors.Theair con system is working alright fornow....
