help!
i have been working on this 03 x for a friend,well the problem started when he washed his x under the hood. that caused the ecu to fill with water and stop communicating with the car. so i dried every thing under the hood and replaced the ecu. before replacing the ecu it was coming up with a gearbox fault,it would not come out of park,the fob lock and unlock quit but not light & trunk function.after replacing the ecuthe gearbox fault went away and it will come out of park but no key fob action and now it has a security failed message and car won't start. WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE????

 

I had the same problem when the battery got low, try charging it or replacing it.
