1647 code
05 x/type 2.5
replaced upstream O2 sensor/bank2
cleared code and came right back
cleared code again and lasted until next day, when eng. started next day code came back immediately.
Noticed oil residue on the intake manifold above and around lower IMT.
Did not notice hissing but will vac leak there cause this?
Will this cause 1647 code???

 

Not an expert in this area or on your X-Type but you should see if you can get a graph reading on your 02sensors to get a better idea of what is taking place. Have you considered a reset on your car now that you replaced the sensor?

Thanks for reply but cleared codes twice. Also, asked if this could be caused by IMT orings as oil residue was found around lower IMT.
