lannyb, you are after a Bilstien front strut. That is the OEM maker of that part and pretty much the only company that makes that strut (there is a Monroe one too). The question that needs to be answered is whether you have the sport model or the standard model. You do have a 3rd choice in the shocks in that they make a heavy duty version which is the standard shock with a bit more aggressive valving in it.
Thank you for the fast response. I'm not a 100% sure but I believe it is not a sport x type. It has a sports mode botton but when I search the vin I do not see anywhere it would say.
