Code 1638....can problems
Code 1603...... TCM problem
I fully charged the battery, then installed a new TCM, i removed the IC and did a pin test....ok....checked the wiring connectors as far as i could reach but the engine will not crank. The IC lights up as normal but turn the key and it just refuses to crank. I removed and cleaned the battery to chassis grounds. After which i am thinking ECM....is there a way to pintest the ECM.....Any answers will be greatfully accepted, and any other information the same.

 

have you checked that the gear selector switch for park or neutral is ok as this will stop it cranking also in stickeys threads there is a jag doc which shows how to check the tcm and ecm
