Hi, I have a 02 X-type 3.0 auto jag. Recently, my friend ran it up a curb blowing out 2 tires and popping the fuel pump inertia switch. After towing it home, I reset the intertia switch and regained power to the fuel pump as well as the interior electronics. Now however, when I turn the key to start the car the engine will not turn over. I tried jumping the starter solenoid with a wire and the motor turns over then but still wont start so I know the starter is good. Also, when placed in reverse, the reverse lights do not come on. I checked fueses and all seem to be good, I also swaped around like relays to no avail. The key fog still locks and unlockes the doors so I dont think it is a problem with that system either. I am looking for any advice from you jag specialists as I am more of a diesel mechanic Thanks in advance!
