Hi Folks
Trying to replace the door latch on the RH passenger side of my X Type. I'm struggling to remove the plastic cover that secures the clip on the door latch rod. A very good previous thread says it slides off sideways if you push in a bit of plastic. Can anyone give more detail? I can't find the bit of plastic you push in.
Any advice gladly received.

Not sure if you have done this now but when I replaced my door lock I had to remove the small window above it to gain access, its a bit time consuming but you will need to take it slow to make sure nothing else gets damaged. Hope this helps, good luck
