2003 X Type Phone

Hey everyone,

I'm a new Jaguar owner, and am also new to this site.

A question I have for everybody is regarding the phone key pad in the 2.5L 2003 Jag X type.

I've heard that the key pad only works if you have a hardwired phone, since the car does not have blue tooth. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions regarding aftermarket products that will allow me to talk hands free in my car, while also utilizing the key pad in the dashboard?

You may also buy Parrot .I do use Parrot in my rides and quite happy with them

Parrot is probably your best option but i dont think you would be able to use your keypad on the dash with any aftermarket product, unfortunately.

I put in a Motorola HF1000 ...http://www.onlyglyde.com/mohfblcarkit.html...and got a harness from Nice Stuff Distributing...<info@nicestuffonline.com>.

It installs in a half hour and works through your sound system. Very cool.
