Wink cruise control on new steering

Hi. Just to confirm something on an earlier post. Ive also changed and i am experiencing the same problem with the speed cruise. It goes on and off but doesn't set so I phoned a local Jag technician. He said that it may only be the throttle body that haven't been linked or connected to the control. He suggested doing a diagnostic check and maybe it can be cured by connecting it through the diagnostic software. I am going to Jag to have it checked out and hopefully I don't have to do any modifications and keep the newer steering.... I will let all know what the outcome was.

regards,

Nice, it seems like a very straightforward job. Do you recommend any sites to buy them from for a decent price?

Also does anyone know if I need to buy a steering wheel with a new airbag, or can i use the one currently on my car? If i upgrade from a 2002 to a 2004 steering wheel are the airbags fit differently?

The airbags are different, and the 'new' cruise controls on the wheel do NOT play with the 2002/2003 controller, although if you are mechanically inclined, the controller can be made to play by adding the 'missing' control to the switch pack.
