Default 2005 X-Type VDP what kind of suspension?

Need to replace the struts on my 2005 VDP and found that the struts differ between X-types which had the sports suspension package and those without. If memory serves me well (which is often does not).. I thought that the VDP had the regular suspension and not the sport. Does anyone have any suggestions about this?

Was looking at the
2005 JAGUAR X TYPE Bilstein B4 Shocks and Struts 22-053626 - SummitRacing.com

But Summit says only the monroe is compatible with the VDP specifically. I think this was just a coding issue.

I'm also waiting for the answer for this? What cars came with "sport"?

Why do you need to replace the struts? Are they worn or do you want to upgrade them?

Only the Sport model came with the sport suspension. All other models including VDP have the "standard" struts.

Kevin
I am changing them because they are clearly done with. Hitting any kind of bump feels and sounds like someone hit the side of the car with a sledgehammer. Rears are always harder to tell but the fronts at 62,000mi and 7 years are clearly finished. Based on posts here on the boards, I will likely do the bearings/mounts as well.

That's what I thought... so only the VDP had the 3.0 and regular "touring" suspension huh? Cause the other 3.0's were sport models no? And the rest of the "touring" suspension went on the 2.5's?

No, the sport model was a very specific version. Engine size has nothing to do with it. This was just discussed not too long ago here:
