I will be changing out the Transmission,Transfer case and differential fluids next thursday. Because it is a newer model of X-Type, (and I have not seen many 2006+ models discussed much in regards to this particular endeavor) I will be sure to let you all know the status of each component prior to the job and after. My 2006 is a Sport edition with 43,000miles on the odometer, and has experienced no failures of any sort, but preventative medicine certainly is the best medicine....

 

At that mileage it may be a bit premature but that would depend how it's been driven. It appears you are playing it better safe than sorry. Are you doing it yourself? Please DO keep us up to date with what you find.
