Default 2008+ Grill

I am normally quite internet-search-savvy, but I am having trouble locating a stock 2008+ euro grill for my x-type. I realize adamesh has them at an utterly ridiculous price, and that Mina Gallery has the 'faux' 2008 grills, but I am looking for a LINK with the factory grill ready to go.....

thank you all for your time

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you're never gonna find it, especially if you live in the US since the 08+ never made it here in the first place. Your only source for an original stock part is through the dealer...and they cost way more than Adamesh and come only primed.

When I went to order mine through the dealer (no after-market parts for me), in 1 week the price shot by 2x (Jaguar raised prices across the board), so the dealer ended up selling it to me for cost, which still came out to be more than previous price.

You're not gonna find it for cheaper…
I was in the same position that you are in earlier this year…
When I ordered mine from Mina, they were selling the exact same one at Adamesh, but only primed. In the time that my grille was being shipped, they changed all of the images of the grill I ordered, I received the version that you call "faux". I was pissed because I paid for something that I didn't receive. But, I'm still going to get the lower grill to match, cause the chrome pattern matches better than the OEM 2008 grill.

What's wrong with the Mina grille?

Seeing it on several member's x-types....Just does not appeal to me, to much small-linked mesh... I like the bentley-style large diamond mesh on the U.K.Factory version.
Just my opinion, which I realize will differ from others. No intent to offend anyone.

Yes, we are opposites here, but that can be a good thing. I prefer the lack of chrome inner surround and tighter mesh (mainly so you don't see the radiator and core support).

I've seen the non-diverse side of things. If we all liked the same stuff, it would be like a Volvo forum - where cars either need to be stock with anthracite wheels or resemble Swedish interpretations of Subarus.

…Might as well just order the on from Adamesh, that's you're only legit option, really.
