6 cd changer?
I have an 04 x-type... it didn't come with a 6 cd changer in the back like most people have... how do i go about getting one put in.. i havnt talked to the dealership and would rather not do it with them...
also i got it tinted the other day, 35% on the windshield and 5% all the way around... its quartz and it looks bad ***... ill throw pics up tomorrow

Try e-bay for your cd changer, look under s type and X.....both use the same head and have the same connections. Seen one the other day for 150 i think. If you go Jag, they now have a new model that replaces your arm rest with the CD changer (if your into it) I rather keep my arm rest.

It's not in the tire compartment. Open the trunk, and on the left side, remove the panel cover, somewhat cumbersome, and you will, or should see the fiber optics and 2, 12 or 28 pin connectors...if you don't see the connectors, than your car doesn't have it.
If you have the connectors, then that means the bracket studs are there also. When you find and decide to buy the changer, you should ask for the brackts also. It will make the installation a painless one.
