Default AC issue resolved

I finally got around to doing the factory bulletin repair procedure. I did it while doing an oil and filter change. It made it much easier with the oil filter off. I actually got a new valve and o-ring together, so I replaced them both. I did have to charge the system twice. On the first go around it seemed to not want to take all the charge. I just waited and kept turning the system on and off over about a week. The compressor engaged but I didn't get any cold air. Today I decided to give charging the system another try. I was successful. I now have cold air and just in time for a couple day heat wave. I am going to run it for another week and then check the charge and we should be good. I am also going to go through the procedure to reset the system flaps. I must give thanks to all those that posted information about this issue. It was all a great help.
Next up will be changing the transfer case fluid and possibly the fuel pump.
