Hi

Did you empty the system of air with a vacuum pump before adding refrigerant back to the system? The system requires 0.810kg of R134a gas and 220g of oil.

To add or clarify..

Did new compressor come with oil already in it?..(YES) then oil is not needed to add.

Did you pull a good vacuum as asked?..30"hg-Vac and did it hold after the vac-pump was turned off and gauges closed, for at least an hour?..Then charge to correct weight.

Thank you for the reply

The system holds the pressur.
Yes u pulled the system vacum before i filled up.
The AC fulling system has a programme where you select your car type and the correct amount of R134A will show on the display. 810g
I dident check the oil .
I will check that and you wil hear from me when it works or not .

Kind regards.

Same here. I had a new compressor put in last week and it did fine until today. Switched out the environment filter. Better...but still not cold.

I'm hearing something about a value now. It's over 100 degrees here everyday, and I would love some cool and not hot, blowing in my face.

Smile AC

Did you change the evaporator? I am told if this is old it effects the cooling of a car.

Problem solved

I have changed the AC compressor and the dry system.
But i didn`t clean my tubes and changed my evaporator.
the AC system was full of dirt from the previous broken ac compressor and the evaporator was blocked.
So i cleaned my tubes with a professional AC cleaning kit en put a new evaporator in to the tube,
Afther that i tested the AC and cold air was comming out of the blower.

Mutch learned with this AC problem.

Let the hot summer come my Jag is ready for it!

Kind regards.
Yannick.

I would like to see some pictures of all those components, where they go and how to access to them.
