2006 X type acceleration issue when braking

 

So your question is? The exact symptom is? Automatic? Manual? Engine size? You have made a statement, or rather half a statement...we'd like to help if possible but please don't make us guess.

 

Well, hell, my Jag doesn't accelerate while braking either, wtf?

Maybe he/she wants to accelerate the braking.

Kellyga, please do not take offense. We are just having a little fun with you because your question seems to contradict itself as acceleration and braking are typically not used together. Please give some more detail to the issue you are having and you will quickly get several responses from people trying to help.

Car should be a 3.0 automatic as it is a 2006 and is in the United States. They stopped offering the 2.5 liter and the manual transmissions after 2005.
