Hi, my airbag light is on. I have code DTC 43. My question is will that be the crash sensor at the front of the radiator or will that be the drviers side sensor in the b-pillar? Thanks.

 

According to my SRS list, Code 43 is the driver's side impact sensor at the base of the B pillar.

Anyone got knowledge of error (fault) code U2017 I know it has to do with driver side air bags, but I have tried reset, clean and checked all connections under seats, side impact (crash sensor) wiring everything looks spot on, the car has only done 40,000 original, any help would do, I have just about given up all hope for MOT.

Lukie, U2017 is not listed in the Jaguar DTC lists for the X Type and all the airbag DTCs are in the Bxxxx set. Is your airbag light on and if so, is it giving a flash code when you turn on the ignition?

Generic listings of DTCs are often inaccurate when used for Jaguars and can be misleading!
