Air Conditioning problems
I have a 2003 x-type 3.0 and I am having an issue with the a/c. It works fine when the car is moving, but when I stop it blows warm air. Does anyone have any ideas about this? I have brought it to 3 different mechanics and got 3 different answers, one says compressor is bad, another said the expansion valve, and one said condenser fan motor? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Fonty

Mine was doing that. But then my waterpump had a small leak so they had to drain almost all of the coolant and refill it when installing a new waterpump. Then that problem went away. People have told me that I may just need a coolant flush when my A/C was blowing warm. It worked for me but I have no idea if this is true info or just a coincidence. But have you had a coolant flush ever?

I have the same problem, but was told by a Dealership that this was normal, that you need a large air flow to push the cold air.... so they suggested that I could always step up the fan manually or move the temperature down and the climate control will step up the fan for me... if anyone knows more I would appreciate knowing too.... also the dealership told me the hissing noise from the firewall where the coolant pipes goes in was normal too (I though it was leaking).
