Default Air flow meter

Can any one tell me the order of the wiring colors that go into the plug for the air flow meter on a 2.0l diesel x type jag 2004 sport the middle two are broken

Hi Phil, The four wires to the MAF are White/green, White/Blue, Brown/Blue and Brown/Blue.

If you cannot splice wires to the plug and you have difficulty in finding one for the Jag then the Ford Mondeo has the same which you might be able to obtain from a scrapper. Ensure you get plenty of the harness.

Thanks it was the center two i was unsure of, the rear one being white blue i then have put blue brown then brown light blue and green white to the front i have just driven the car to London and back the way up the check engine light was on but on the way back the light was extinguished so they must be correct but i will source another plug as i had to cut this one back to solder in the wires
