American owners
always wanted a jag since the late 80s. was right out of school and couldnt afford one. always been a truck and motorcycle guy. so when kids came around i bought my first car being the xtype 2 years ago wish i got to drive it more because just about every time i drive it somebody comes up to talk about it. im looking for an older convertible jag
I've always driven crummy, but powerful sports cars as my money is generally put to other things, like an airplane!
Anyway, I've come to love the X-Type, it's nicely made, comfortable, responsive, drives well and does everything right. I've concluded there is actually "something" to the higher end cars that goes beyond raw specifications.
I rent cars every week, and there have been NONE that drive as well as my Jag. That's saying something.
The first car I bought was a 1964 (pre March) Austin Healy Sprite, then onto AH 3000 (8 of them) Triumph TR3s and 4s MG TD,A,B,Midgets and the 1970 E-Type 4.2 then back to Triumphs...........Saw the X-Type Wagon and the A3 was history
