Default Awesome find for LED driving lights.......but

Here is a new LED light(to me anyway) to replace 194 bulbs(small bulb in hi beam bucket). the only problem is they are $10 to $12 a piece. they put out enough light to drive by alone with no other lights on. Here is a peek at them. gonna replace liscence plate light and map light when i can with these also

COOL! I have a pair of these that I have waiting to be installed, but I can't seem to get the freaking bulbs out of their sockets! I feel like I'm going to tear apart my headlight assembly every time I pull backwards! Did you find any tricks with yours?

I would not recommend them for the map lights & license plate lights though...

I bought some kick-*** ultra bright & white Philips W5W LED's for the park lights, and without thinking bought the same ones for the map lights, footwell lights and license plate lights.

They were way too bright for interior lights, absolutely blinding!

And also way too bright for the license plate, did not look good at all...

Just saying....

Seen the same bulbs under Osram brand. 1W so they should be quite bright. Problem is the price, about 33 bucks. Well not actually the price, but the durability. At this time of the year we have only few hours of daylight so the high beams are on a lot.

Longest lasting led bulb only lasted about 6 months and I´ve used 4 different types of bulbs, regular and semiconductor versions. So I wouldn´t want to spend 33 bucks to bulbs that need to be changed 4 or 5 times a year.
