No CEL light either after the 60sec blink cycle than the blink pattern change giving me 1 blink pause then 2 blink after looking it up in the diagnosis diagram the blinks represent a B2103 code ... is this a dealer only issue because I took my 2002 xtype in an independent jaguar repair shop and they can’t figure it out any help is appreciated in advance.

Welcome to the forum Tystiles1,

We don't charge by the letter - please use some full stops!

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to X-Type forum. This is the place to post technical questions about your model.

I'm not sure if you read code B2103 with a compatible scantool? If so, this is the relevant decode from the Jaguar DTC lookup:

When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. So I changed one of my front speakers but I don’t think that has anything to do with the PATSsystem I’m wondering if it could be the aftermarket keys I bought from EBAY that lost the signal in the chip, I took my Xtype to an independent jaguar shop and they couldn’t figure out the issue so at this point I’m just baffled as to what the issue could be , I’m thinking about calling a Locksmith to reprogram my keys in hopes of that being the problem any help is greatly appreciated.

You bought aftermarket keys on E-Bay? Is that when this issue started? Did you have the keys programmed to the car? If not, they won't work.

I have been using the key for over a year now without any issues the second key was not used at all so I don’t think it’s the keys, I changed one of my frt speakers a few days before I got security failed on the dash so I don’t think that would affect the security system, I took the car to an independent jaguar shop and they couldn’t figure out the problem either. B2103 states corrupted data received from transceiver but it’s not the transceiver because I bought a new transceiver and the car still not cranking or starting due to the PATS SYSTEM I’ve researched the web and tried just about everything now I just ordered a videntilink 400 scanner from eBay to see if that can help me so stay tuned I will be posting the results from that next week when I receive the scanner.
