The rear driver's side door of my x type 2.0 D has been blocked. It does not open from inside or outside, I tried all the possible combinations with remote control, with key, with the engine on and off but nothing. I checked if there was any ruined wire, I sprayed CRC crisp oil on the contacts but nothing.

- I disassembled the internal panel with breaking of the plastic supports.
- inserting the hand inside the door I could verify that the rod that connects the external handle is hooked and the plastic attack that is usually broken was intact, pulling it with the hand was flowing but the lock did not unlock
- the cable of the internal handle was not broken but by pulling it and PUSHING it with force the lock did not release

Through a small hole of 1 cm of diameter on the sheet of the door placed next to the lock I inserted a wire hook and I could feel that he could reach the mechanism by pulling the cable of the inner handle simultaneously but even after several attempts I failed to unlock it. Now I wonder what the manufacturer predicted in these cases .... cut the door in two parts with the grinding wheel?

Thanks, but mine is the back door that has the window guide that would disturb the insertion of the cutter, at this point it would not be better to directly saw the panel sheet inside the circular grinding wheel to find out the whole lock?

 

Miracle, miracle, miracle. After 24 hours I had sprayed unlocking oil in the lock from inside the door randomly, today the door opened. I continued to grease the lock easily. now the safety is triggered and both the internal and external handles work, but the central locking with remote control does not work. I have checked the electric cables and they do not seem ruined, is there a way to test the lock?
