Default Best place to buy Suspension online?

Aftermuch consideration and input for forum members, I've decided to go with lowering springs and shocks instead of coil-overs. I found Eibach lowering springs online for $243 Where's the best place to buy Shocks online? Should I buy standard comfort shocks or should I go with HD sport shocks?

Thanks for your advice.

yes, as long as they are matched by sport springs. The HD's are the top range billstein for the x-type. big difference.

I got mine from www.shockwarehouse.com. Call them up to make sure they have them in stock before ordering. Very few places actually carry parts for the x-type that they have listed on their sites, i've called many. I got them for about $560 total and they arrived within 3 days. Good luck, they are well worth it.

Well if you did want to just go with the sport suspension of the jag try here...I'd check into them a little more maybe call someone...

These are for struts (same oem as sport suspension...)

Here are sport springs (pretty sure everything here is same as oem sport springs)

BTW pretty sure Racer said that the stock sport suspension is lowered compared to the comfort versions...these stock parts would be alot less than the h&r or eibach and bilsteins...not sure on comparison of quality though...

Thanks for the links and helpful advice aquill. Do you think I can get away with doing OEM sport suspension and lowering springs? Right now I have comfort suspension.

Is there going to be that big of difference going with aftermarket shocks and struts as opposed to sport stock?

Im pretty sure that the aftermarket springs will give you more of a drop then that of the stock sport, and if you get adjustable shocks then u can control the dampers, not sure if they are available for X though. Impretty sure the best way to go if i had the choice again wud be to go with the eibach springs and the prodamper kit. The adren springs are way expensiver, and are about the same as the eibach.

Do you know where I can find info on the Pro Damper kit? I looked on Eibach.com and they dont show a pro damper application for the X-Type.

Yeah from what i've heard the sport suspension on sport models are only an inch lower than comfort...pretty sure racer was the one who told me this in a previous post but can't remember for sure...I'd go after those pro damper kits 04x listed for ya those seem quite nice and a pretty good price as well...don't know anything about them though...you use them on yours 04x?
