Default A big thank you to all of you!

I recently had an issue with my 05 X-Type when it wouldn't pass the emmissions test. The guy at the shop said my brake booster needed replacing and it would be a minimum of $600.

That's when I started to read. Thanks to you guys and your detailed postings, I figured out I had a vacuum leak. I replaced the brake booster line, then cleaned the MAF sensor, and in the end I had to replace the IMT valve o-rings (which I did myself) - and Voila!

Not bad for a girl, huh?

I couldn't have done the first thing without you guys!

Bobbi

Bobbi, stick around during the good times of the car. Keep posting and help out the other members with what you know. This is what makes a site like this so valuable. Keep the kitty running smoothly and enjoy those long drives when you can.
