Default Body question

Hello all,
New member here. I have a 2002 xtype 3.0 sport, and have little mechanical knowledge. The attached image is of a cap that broke from the front of the car near the headlights. Please can someone tell me what it is? What it does? And if its easily replaceable.
Thanks!

That's for the headlight washers. I don't think it is hard to replace. Do a search on here. I know it has been talked about in the past. I don't have that on my car, so have no experience with it.

This is what you need. You might also want to get the pivot mounting swivel too. They are made of metal instead of plastic (like the factory ones).New Jaguar x Type Right Headlight Washer Jet Covers C2S30310XXX | eBay

So I ordered this, tried to connect it to the washer jet, and couldn't get it to work for the life of me. So, I removed the clip and just epoxied that sucker onto it.

Default Epoxy

I had actually found it when it broke and superglued it back on. Gorilla glue brand did not last and it broke off again while driving somewhere. I learned my lesson and if I cant mount them I'll use epoxy for sure.
Any tips on how you applied the glue?
Thanks again

I did the 5 minute epoxy myself as well, but it eventually wore due to the weather and I lost the washer. You can buy headlamp washers alone, the clip alone (there are aluminium ones manufactured) and ones that are fibreglass with the clip attached to it. I recommend getting the fibreglass washer, and replace the plastic clip on your other washer with the aluminium clip.
