Default Brake caliper no fluid

Got a new brake caliper and installed it now I can't get any fluid to enter to caliper anybody know what it could be?

i get fluid out the bleeder on the right side which was still good, but the left side which i replaced wont get any fluid from the bleeder the line gets fluid but the bleeder will not nor will the piston engage i triple checked my install dont know what it could be

Take the bleeder screw out completely and blow it out, probably just a piece if dirt or foam in it. If that isn't it, return the caliper.

I mean the bleeder screw, of course. DO NOT blow out the caliper!

akingcrook, it could be that the copper washer that provides the seal is blocking the flow of fluid. That or the small port in the retaining bolt is plugged and that needs to be cleaned out. If you are getting fluid into the caliper, then it will come out the bleed port as it is basically a big void inside the caliper between the brake line and the bleed port.

Aking: If you'd like, I can stop by and take a look at it. Sometimes it just takes a second set of eyes. I frequent the north and west sides of Houston.
