I knew you thought it would be a secret... At least until I checked the site!

Mike Gilbert is a photographic magician. I would send you the rolling rig shot, but then I would have to kill you.

Also... with a little extra fabrication work I was able to get the nose down another 1/2" or so. Don't think that pic is completely aired out. I can barely tuck the curb guard edge fully aired down - so about 10mm from the 18" rim lip.

The bottom of the air strut now sits about 3/4" lower than the lowest part of the lower strut clamp. I still have 10mm or so to the CV boot, so plenty of clearance there. Remember I have a cylinderical sleeve of 3/16" inch steel around the strut to help bare weight - had to notch that a half inch and modify the rotational key ears to let them drop further. I'm still tucking tire (215/35/18) at 50psi - where ride quality is about ideal.

Because of moar lows or because of cylindrical metal objects moving down into clamps?

My front struts have like an extra piece of metal welded on them where the bolt that clamps the bottom portion goes thru so they cannot drop on their own. I guess they updated them since you got them

I had those pieces at one point also. A Dremel with a reinforced cutting wheel takes care of that quickly. Just don't mess with them unless you plan to put sleeves (roughly 6 inches tall) around the shock body against the lower clamp top and the end link brackets.

You also don't really want the weight of your car solely on those little ears. Those are meant to be keys for rotation and not support weight. That is what I "discovered", yes.

You guys are right, this is the work of a talented phorogrpahist. Is it just me, or did the bolt pattern adaptors that are installed push the rims so far beyond the fender flares that the tyres mush be several series too narrow? Or maybe I'm just seeing it wrong. An interesting job I must say, idk about the tyres, I suppose I'm not as familiar with a bagged ride as many.

No, they are actually Coventry Whitley in 18x9.5" ET28 front and ET23 rear. It is an XKR rear wheel fitment on all four corners of my X-Type. No adapters and it uses factory Jaguar lugs. I did need to run 215/35/18 tyres to have clearance on the front wings.
