SOLVED

Hi

I have a powerful amp so it must be run from battery and can't take power through the existing fuse box. the only problem is i can't find a way to get the power wire through the firewall to the inside of the car. There are 2 rubber grommets by drivers side but inside the car under the steering wheel I can't find how those wires are coming in.

Could someone please explain to me in a bit more detail as to how im supposed to bring the wire into the car through the firewall. i have a 2003 jaguar x-type 2.5L v6 AWD. If you have some pictures that you have done in past installs etc I'd be very grateful.

 

ok guys finally progress and don't you love it when car manufacturers just make it easy for you to do everything. just takes me aages to figure out. Right got some pics here. Theres a grommet right behind the brake pedal where you will see the fire wall slightly scissorred out but still stuck on. The rubber grommet is Kind of like an eyedrop shape. here are some pics. I am running a 4gauge wire and an 8gauge wire through there











And after fisching up all the wire found a LOOP...
