Default Catalytic Converteer

I have a 2002 Jaguar X-type. The transmission was recently replaced and now I need a catalytic converter.

How many catalytic converters does a Jaguar have? Do you know if I can get this job done for $1000 or less (maybe by buying the parts and having a mobile mechanic do the work)?

You can buy both catalyst converter for less than $400, the problem here is the labor; It will take a lot of time to remove and reinstall them, to save the money you better DIY, if you buy parts and let the mechanic do it for you, at small garage they will charge you () $40-$60 an hour, go to the dealer they 'll charge you $100-$120/hr
