I have read that keyfobs are really problematic especially on the earlier models .I think your problem is a typcial example of them

Yeah take both fobs to your local dealer there was recall on them and they either reprogram or replace them, they had to for me...but they must have both to do it...if that doesn't work also keep in mind that the door on the ignition that the key pushes needs to be closed whenever you pull your key out to lock the doors, otherwise your car still thinks your keys are in the ignition, you can lube that up if its sticking...doubt its your problem more than likely just need to be fixed by a dealer, they also shouldn't charge you for it as its a known problem...good luck

If you happen to find a day where your going by your dealer stop in and have em take a look...relating to a tsb problem or recall problem they don't charge you for that...
