I tried changing these bulbs just the other day to LED. Though I decide they look good as is.

ANYWAY, they can be removed by turning it counter clockwise. The bulb is a 194, W5W, T10. All the same just different coding for the bulbs.

Check out http://www.eautoworks.com/ for all the bulb replacements.

Cheers!

The front marker lights (inside the headlight housing) don't need to be twisted, they are push in friction style bulbs. The bulb type is W5W.

just did mine, swapped out to little LEDs. Take off the round cover, the plugs are right there, pull straight back and they pop out, then push the metal tang down to unplug.

I replaced mine with a bluer color range 194 (similar to 6000k) and they look great. Sadly, the H1's I bought to match would not last very long. The aftermarket fogs still work though.

If you mean the amber lights on the side you just move the lense forward and the whole thing comes off.

OK, seriously. I too can reach the little parking light connector in the high beam, but it certainly doesn't pull straight out. I must have had 10 lbs of force on it and nothing happened. I also tried twisting the connector it rotates clock wise and counter clock wise, but still the connector is stuck on the head lamp shell.

What's the trick? I'm ready to take the bumper off and remove the lens to get to the stupid thing.

cwalker, the trick is just to hold the housing in place (so you do not break the mounts to the headlight) and then pull straight back. If you go at even a slight angle, it will bind up and not want to go. LIke was mentioned above, they are only held in with friction. So, a gentle pull straight back is all that is needed to remove the bulb.

I had mine replaced at a bodyshop while it was getting work done. They ended up breaking one of my headlights and blamed it on me.

What bulbs did you end up buying.

That's exactly the look I'm going for

Those are 8ks and the LEDS are just from eBay. I would recommend superbrightleds though, I have them in the interior. They look great and are more reliable

just changed mine to LEDs this weekend, they're a little hard to pull out. on the driver's side you have better access if you remove the battery.
