Just ordered the chrome side mirror covers for my 04 X-Type. I am wondering what is involved in installing these. My car has the standard black mirrors. Do I have to remove something from my mirrors now to add the chrome, or do the chrome covers snap on? Or glue on? Just don't want to mess anything up when the covers arrive. Thanks for your help!

 

I got a set from ebay that glued on. Took all of 5 minutes. It came with 3 M strips. I later removed them since I liked nit better without the chrome, but I may put them back on again!

 

Mine came with chrome mirror caps but i think you would have to take the peice off before you but the new ones on....but not really sure
